About Anagram Chain – Daily Anagram Word Ladder

Anagram Chain is a daily word ladder with a twist: instead of changing one letter at a time, you add one. The climb starts from a three-letter word and ends at eight, and at every rung you are shown the letter being thrown in. Your job is to find a real word made of exactly the letters you already had plus that one.

The letters are a set, not a sequence, so you are free to rearrange all of them however you like — the rung is defined by which letters are in play, not by how you spelled the last one. That means several answers are often valid and any of them carries you upward to the same next rung. What you cannot afford is guessing blind: three wrong words at any point and the climb is over for the day.

The chains are derived from the same curated word lists the other games use, filtered to those where a full three-to-eight descent genuinely exists, so every day's ladder is completable end to end. Your streak counts days you reached the top, and the leaderboard ranks on mistakes rather than words tried.

How to play Anagram Chain

Grow a three-letter word into an eight-letter one, adding a letter each rung.

1. Take the word so far, add the letter shown, and rearrange all of them.
2. Any real word using exactly those letters counts, so spelling is up to you.
3. Three wrong guesses and the climb ends.
