About Quick Divide – Daily Divisibility Quiz

Quick Divide is the fastest game here. Each day poses one question — does one number divide evenly into another — and you answer Yes or No. There is no second attempt and no partial credit, which is the whole point: it is a test of the arithmetic instinct you already have, not of how long you are willing to work at it.

The questions are built to be answerable in your head if you know the divisibility rules, and to be a coin flip if you do not. A number divides by 3 when its digits sum to a multiple of 3, by 4 when its last two digits do, by 9 when its digits sum to a multiple of 9, by 11 when the alternating sum of its digits does. Most days one of those settles it in a couple of seconds.

A new question arrives at midnight Budapest time, everyone gets the same one, and your run of correct answers is kept as a streak. Past questions stay in the archive if you want more than one a day.
